I come to this Couche-Tard frequently and am normally greeted and served extremely well. The owner/manager is always a pleasure... to see and say hello to. However recently, one of the cashiers, a young white man with long brown hair, has been steering meaway from shopping here. The first occasion I interacted with him, he made rude comments to me and my friend while making oneof my regular purchases. I asked how his night was going and his response was along the lines of "What the hell do you want/Idon't care". I figured he was simply having a bad night and brushed it off. The second occasion I encountered him, a week or solater, I again asked him how his night was going as I was making my purchase (while maintaining a smile and keeping my distanceout of respect), and his response was a repeat of the previous occasion. Finally, recently on Saturday night, September 11th, Iarrived at the Couche-Tard with a friend to purchase alcohol 10 or so minutes before the cut-off at 11pm. The man flat outrefused to sell us the case of beer even though we were well before 11pm. He gave no reason, he simply told us "I'm, not sellingyou that" and asked us to leave if we didn't want anything else. We asked why not, his response was that he "didn't wantto". There are many other depanneurs nearby downtown only a few minutes walk away. If the next time I encounter this cashier myexperience is the same as the previous occasions, I won't be returning and I'll ensure my friends do not either. There isn't anygood reason to be consistently rude/disrespectful/lazy towards regular friendly customers at a well-known franchiselocation. Happy shopping, cheers. Read more
I walked in to the right to purchase slushies for my 3 children, the cashier all masked up behind plexiglass at the OTHER side... of the store demands that we wear masks. I further said were medically exempt he had the audacity to yell and shout and tell memy children all looked over 10 years old( have no clue what 10 years old means) and that I am to tell him how old my kids areand where my proof was. When I proceeded to tell him thats illegal and I have the law of Quebec on my phone he was shouting likea psychopath. This happened on July 10th at 5pm.
