We went to this restaurant as part of a business function with the company I work for. We were a group of 6 with a reservation.... The place is rather classy with a warm atmosphere. It's more upscale than your regular bistro place. I can only speak of what Iordered which was a steak with fries. It was good overall and cooked as I wanted. Wine was good too and so were the startersthat we shared across the group. Service was reasonably fast despite how busy the place was. I'm pretty certain the bill wasquite high, so just keep in mind that this restaurant will also be priced higher than a "hole in the wall" bistro. A good placeto visit nonetheless. Nice decor at the dinning area. The service was amazing. We weren't able to book throught OpenTable, yet the staff managed to... get us a table. I used to come here equally for the ambiance as for the food. There was an awesome DJ that turned the place into a dance bar.... That is no longer the situation. It is strictly a Resto now. This was my 2nd visit to Mechant Boeuf and overall experience is a 5 star Our waiter was awesome, friendly and very... accommodating. We started off the night with some drinks and then ordered our meals. Everything was flavourful, delicious andvery satisfying. They're menu is filled with options everyone can enjoy.
