We had a reservation at 10:30am for brunch on July 17th. The experience walking in was already a disappointment compared to... being here 4 years ago. I was last here on a girls trip and had an amazing time so I wanted to bring my family (it was theirfirst time in Canada). The LOV picture wall was withered and not maintained. There was no one to help us at the front. We werewondering if the restaurant was even open. Everyone was at the bar and the whole place was dimly lit. Ryan, our server finallycame and seated us and we requested a table at the back where there was more light. Unfortunately this table was not very clean.There were crumbs all over the seat and it was dirty with stains. I gave some stars because our servers were attentive andchecked on us and made sure we had our water. The food aesthetically looked good. lThe sweet waffles tasted great, however thetofu Benedict was overly salted. There was also a lack of AC or ventilation so we were left sweating by the end of our meal. Read more
Seriously amazing food and ALL VEGAN. It’s so classy gorgeous and fancy and just the most delicious food! I got the Summer... Bowl, which was such a good portion. It was a little too vinegary for me, so next time I would get it with less dressing. I alsogot the “calamari” made with hearts of palm it it was a amazing. So light and perfect texture. I got the Botaniste cocktail,which was so nice and fresh. Tasted like cucumber juice with a zing. I also had a nibble of my partner’s mushroom burger,which tasted really good like a classic burger taste, and I had a bite of my mom’s Cesar salad which was also good! Fordessert I got the brownie. It was crispy on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. It was amazing. Not too heavyeither. Lov exceeded my expectations! Our server was so kind and patient as my mom and I had questions about the menu. We ordered a... variety of appetizers and main courses to share. The king oyster scallops, dumplings, fish and chips, coconut curry, and cremebrûlée were all excellent! We could not stop raving about them! We also got two white wines to start which were lovely. May I strongly suggest making a reservation to avoid disappointment. Luckily for me, I was able to sit at the bar (though a bit... uncomfortable because there’s no leg room). Overall, delighted I was not turned away. Everything on the menu looks deliciousso it was very hard to decide what to order I ended up with three tacos. And kimchi sweet potato fries ?? Atmosphere, decor,music - excellent. My server was Zoe - excellent but I could tell the restaurant is short staffed. I definitely plan to comeback. I hear their risotto is delicious ???? Read more

The wee barista was incredible. Can’t recall her name (ugh! Someone will know Saturday brunch on Sept 3/22) but she “made”... the best impression of a great plant based place. Great atmosphere, and tasty food. Definitely will come back when in townagain. Read more
