Went with friends to celebrate my girlfriend?s birthday and we had an amazing time. The 4 courses were delicious and were just... enough to satisfy. This is the first time I have given a 5 star review to a place. Everything was on point. We were offered a 4 course meal for... $61 each. I?ll start with the service. The restaurant is small so they only really had 2-3 waiters on the floor. Nevertheless,it seemed like they had it all under control - given the fact they also had to deal with a large party of 15 people. We startedwith the mushroom soup and green salad. I would say the taste was above average and one that is expected of a high endrestaurant. 2nd course was better - a sort of salty crème brûlée and escargot. The taste was exquisite, and at this point weknew that we were in for a treat. The main course; we ordered the gnocci and kangaroo. Yes, kangaroo!! And my goodness, it wascooked to perfection. I don?t normally like my meat cooked anything under well, but the waiter recommended medium rare so I wentwith it. The meat was so tender and the raspberry sauce paired so well with it. Last but not least, we had the cupcake withvanilla ice cream and crème brûlée. They took a risk by adding raspberry to the creme brulée but it was executed soperfectly. A good mix of sweet and sour to end the night. Plus, you get to bring your own wine! Altogether amazing experience.Of all the places I have been to in Montreal, this one in my opinion deserves a Michelin star. Read more
