I wanted to try this place for vegan Chinese food. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice with friendly staff. They have a... collection of different teas for sale apart from the dining. I tried a takeout of the bbq seitan based on the number ofpositive reviews it has. The price was $18 plus tax. Taste was okay but not so great as described by other reviewers. Though itsays bbq and have their own sauce for it, it?s nowhere close to being a smoky flavoured bbq. It?s just a sweet sauce that issimilar to honey based sauces. While it was juicy and tasted good, it was deep fried in oil. The portion size is small for a 20$item. It barely satisfied any hunger and could have been 15$ max incl tax. Also, going vegan doesn?t necessarily need to behealthy and environmental friendly and this item is the best example of having so much sugars, deep fried in oil and being soyonly product that induces wrong hormones in the body. There are other types of proteins that are being engineered out of plantbased products not just soy/tofu and these vegan restaurants can try them too. We may be doing a favour to the environment bynot eating meat but in the process destroying our own health isn?t the way to do. Overall, I give the restaurant andfriendliness of staff a 4 star but if the ?vegan? term refers to only soy based imitation of meats then it?s a 1 star. Read more

I just left the restaurant and I had a great experience! This was my first time there and the food was amazing. As a vegan it?s... hard to find food I can eat, or food that I want to eat. This was delicious. The portion sizes are great. The ambiance is greatand the staff are all so friendly and polite. Being there made me feel so warm and happy. I can?t recommend this place enough. Iwill definitely be back! Thank you for your great service and food. Read more

Horrible restaurant and even worse customer service. The food is disgusting, the dumplings were cold, miso soup was filled with... tofu, and the worst part was the ?California roll? that was the absolute worst sushi I ever had. The rice was very over cooked, and there was too much rice and only avocado for California roll?! I only had one of the eight pieces and based on their policythey don?t take food back and was charged the full amount. Zero customer service and DO NOT recommend anyone go here. Read more

Food tasted good as usual. Thank goodness. The menu has dropped some fav dishes. The service staff was abrupt and discourteous... - to the point of rude. We had a group of 5 but added one more when the second group joined. The staff was flustered aboutseating us though the restaurant was 50% empty with 3 tables for 8 people vacant and without reservation sign. They kept pushingsome of the more expensive dishes- casseroles with king mushroom- which none of us had liked in our previous visit. We had to bevery firm in asking them to back off on suggestions. My husband and I would have left without eating but my in-laws (both intheir 80s) were with us. Maybe Covid has changed the restaurant staff courtesy rules... Read more

Loved the place and ambiance. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. I tried Barbecue Seitan which is really good and taste... like juicy chicken. Dumplings are little bit on drier side a dip would make it more edible. It?s a bit pricer but worth to try Read more
