I guess they get free salt. The fries had excess of salt and wasn?t edible. Plus I don?t think they read the instructions. I... order two happy meals with toys and not books but when kids opened it in home one got a book and another got a toy. Not sure howdifficult it is to read and fulfil correct orders. Read more

It never ceases to amaze me the terrible service I can receive at a McDonald?s. Firstly, not having breakfast within breakfast... hours is unbelievable to me secondly, unwilling to substitute french fries for hashbrowns and combos. It?s also ridiculous.Then, after waiting in the drive-through, which is meant to be a quick experience, order was wrong. And this location ran out ofsalt?! I often come to this MacDonald's and I generally find it to be a good location. However, today's experience could have been much... better. I placed my order using the self service kiosk. As usual, I saw that my order number appeared on the front screen in thecolumn identifying orders that were being prepared. However, 5 seconds later my order appeared in the column showing orders thatwere being served. It was impossible that my order could actually be ready in that short a time. I was about to approach thepick up desk when my order number disappeared completely. I waited a couple of minutes and explained the issue to a woman behindthe counter (she was wearing a yellow safety vest, so I assumed she also ran orders out to people waiting in cars). She told methat it meant that order was being prepared. (Really???) I told her my order number had disappeared completely but she insistedthat it was being worked on. (I got the sense that she was being dismissive.) So I waited and watched several customers comeafter me and walk away with their food. After a while I re-approached the counter and spoke to someone else. She was much morehelpful and said she would look into it and prepare my order immediately. Within a couple of minutes I had myorder. Unfortunately, there were more problems. When I went to fill my beverage cups at the self-service dispensers, Idiscovered that the machine had run out of ice. Also, there were no medium cup lids. The area was actually a big mess withspilled soda and straws and cup lids strewn all over the counter. (See attached photo) I went back to the pick counter toexplain the problem and was given medium lids and a cup of ice. Later when I went back to the self service area, I discoveredthat there were no napkins and no ketchup cups. So again, I went back to the pick up counter and was given what I needed. Had such an amazing experience this morning Both with the cashier, Catherine, and the manager, Nelson. Catherine made us feel... very welcome even with the few minutes of ordering from her. Didn?t expect to receive such a great customer service with genuinesmile and delight. Received all correct orders, and the manager, Nelson even went out of his way to assist carrying the tray offood to our table. Additional note: noticed how Nelson treats his team, he was great at teaching/guiding his time regardingextra organizing, but saying it in a kind and respectful manner. Also saw how he interacts with other customers on both sides ofour table, really making everyone feel warmly welcome i the restaurant.
