First time trying a Hero Certified Burger and it was pretty disappointing. The fries were soggy (I'm pretty sure they were... heated up in the microwave) and the burger itself had the texture of a frozen patty. All that for $18! This location was clean,but totally dead. This is the 3rd location I've visited. And it's MUCH smaller than the stand alone stores. But the food is still awesome! I... had the 6oz Blue Moon Combo with onion rings. I substituted goat cheese for blue, because I love, love, love goat cheese! AndI added onions, relish, mustard and hero sauce. It is an EXTREMELY busy location, because its just north of the 401, and partof a mall where a large gas station with a Timmie's is. Because it was so busy, I didn't even have to ask for a freshly cookedpatty, which I normally do anywhere that I order a burger, so that it's piping hot and not sitting under a heat lamp! Onionrings were freshly made and piping hot too! And a generous portion. The young woman at the counter was very nice andhelpful. The burger was, as usual, AWESOME! Generous amount of goat cheese, and not AT ALL greasy, dripping with oil, ORslimy, as a few reviews said. And. For the record, hero burgers NEVER ARE. And yes. You pay extra for double patties,premium buns and premium toppings. (which you do ANYWHERE!) And yes, you pay $4 to make it a combo, which is reasonable,because this is a high end, high quality burger joint! And finally, YES, it's more expensive than McDonald's, because thisis ANGUS BEEF, from the famous Beretta Farms, which restaurant chefs buy from! And you can TASTE the quality of the beef as aresult! Sloppiest and most disappointing burger I?ve ever had. This chain used to be dependable for a better than average burger but the... last few locations I?ve gone to have been very subpar. This franchise had no milkshakes available (2nd time in a row) and nearlyevery table was filthy even though the place was empty. Had to clean my own table before using it, and even though the burgertraveled only 3 m it still arrived soggy af. Fries were hot and fresh though, and the cashier was friendly. I've always had Hero Burger delivered to me, it was my first time dining at one of their locations. When girlfriend and I walked... in, we were fascinated by how clean the place was and we even thought this was a new location. Had a chat with the supposedowner, who told us he just purchased the place couple a weeks back and revamped the place, mostly on the hygiene part. Greatservice, extremely clean restaurant (one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever dine at), top notch fries, good but not thebest burger. 4 stars due to the steep price and okay burger (Hero Burger in general are mediocre). Once i started walking to the... counter she looks at me, as I say excuse me she turns and runs in the back. This is called stealing.
