Classic ambience, good food and friendly staff. I would definitely come back
*UPDATE* after owner's response (seems like they lack total accountability and trying to provide cover ups. So unfortunate.... Dropping rating to 1 star). 1. Wrong - we didn't finish the food. My wife reluctantly ate half her plate because she didn't wantto cause an issue. When I asked her how it was, she said "very odd". Then I tried her food, and I immediately sent it back. 2.Wrong - we didn't get 'continuous refills' (lol), we got our only refill after we had finished our food. (thanks to thegentleman behind the counter noticing my constant looking around for a waitress and a different waitress who then stepped in toserve us). 3. Wrong - we don't need a compensation, or would have asked for one on the spot (did you notice I tipped?). We weretaken aback but the lack of common courtesy of offering a remake, or provide something else, even if we were to pay forit. Indeed a wimpy place. (End of update). -------------------------------------- We had heard great reviews about this placegoing in. The eggs Florentine came with a distinct pungent smell and taste, felt like the spinach in there was thawed fromfrozen and maybe gone bad. When we brought it up to the not-so-interested waitress, she took a note of it but charged us for theitem anyway. They didn't offer a remake or a replacement and we didn't feel like they cared. The coffee refill didn't come untilafter we were done eating. Also, they invoiced us for an extra coffee, which they removed when we brought it up. Such a cute little diner, great service, friendly staff and really good food.

We just stumbled on this place after a long night of travelling with family and met father for breakfast with 2 young kids. The... service was fantastic. The kind lady was very attentive to the kids needs brining out their food first, water with the orangejuice so we could mix for the baby (with out even asking). Our food came out quick and was quite tasty. But the thought and carethat was put in after was what made this such a special experience. My 6 year old mentioned it was mommy?s birthday as we weregoing to the bathroom. As we were getting ready to leave she came out and they sing happy birthday to me had a piece of cake andcandle to blow out along with a card from Wimpy?s and even made balloon monkeys for the kids (we just arrived home from theDominican). They also gave me a sweet gem pin. It was all so thoughtful and made the kids day. They also has a Christmas photobackdrop set up near the door where you can take pictures of your family with Christmas props. I didn?t get the name of thesweet lady who served us but I would highly recommend supporting this restaurant. Made our day! Read more
