The restaurant wasn't busy. Service was mediocre. Had to ask server more than once to bring certain things. After the dinner... all servers disappeared and I had to go find one so I could pay and go somewhere else. Waited over 10 minutes and had to get upand look for anyone working here and finally found all of them in the kitchen. No one even there in the front in case morepeople came in. Seems like they forgot about their serving duties and were more involved in kitchen cleanup. Or maybe theservers have to be the cooks and the cleanup crew too, and if so, that's not being fair to either the customers or thestaff. Wasn't too impressed with the roast beef but i don't like eating all parts of the chicken and you have to order aquarter or half a chicken. That's why I ordered the roast beef but it tasted like it had been previously frozen and then justnuked - it wasn't very hot or appetizing in appearance or taste. Swiss Chalet isn't what I remember it to be. It wasn't myfirst choice anyway as it was my friend that wanted to go there. Won't be in a hurry to go back anytime soon that's for sure. If I could I'd give it 2.5 stars but this rating system doesn't allow for in between numbers so I just rounded it up to 3stars. Read more

my wife and I went to the 1455 Dundas St. Mississauga location on Friday Sep.9 at 5:00. We were seated and then not served. 2... groups came after us and were served. We waited 20 minutes and nobody even came to get our drink order. I am 60 years old andhave never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. It wasn't even busy. We walked out. I requested well done on the grill. When the chicken was served it had no grill lines but the server said it was well done and... on the grill. I started to eat it and it was pink inside. I told the server and she kindly told me she would replace it. Whenthe new order came out I was speechless. The server never once came back to ask if everything was okay. She didn?t even give meeye contact. She offered my friend a refill and even a take out container. When I asked for the store number she told me it wason the receipt. Update: Management promptly reached out to me to resolve this issue. I was really impressed with how it was handled. Management... at this location genuinely care about their customers and their brand. ******** We always order from this location and it'salways great. However there is a first for everything - we ordered takeout today and it was "off". The chicken had a bit of astrange taste in some sections and a bit of a smell.
