I went through the drive-thru and ordered a Whopper on Whopper Wednesday and they tried to charge me $8.40! I asked isn't it... Whopper Wednesday and he said yes but the discount only applies if you buy and meal. That's such a lie!! I left the sandwich atthe drive-thru window and went elsewhere! I actually enjoy Burger King as a rule, but I do not recommend this location on Sackville Drive, in Lower Sackville. The first... word that comes to mind when I think of what I saw and experienced is "disorganization". When I walked in there was no one atthe cash which is no big deal but I must have stood there for a few minutes before someone came to the cash. It looked like wasoutback helping the staff. Then after I paid for my order I must have stood there for 10 minutes watching other people come inand leave because no one would take their order. To be fair it looked like they had several orders on the go at the same timebut so doesn't every other take out Restaurant I eat at. Because of the layout of the store you can stand there and watch themmake the food which was pretty scary. They just kind of slapped everything together and I got the smallest little square oflettuce that I have ever seen and the burger was half falling apart in the bag so I had to piece it back together which is whenI noticed the lettuce and had a little laugh. In hind sight I should have taken a picture because you wouldn't believe it unlessit saw it with your own eyes. We dined in and the burger was almost cold, almost like the meat was being cooked in advance andbeing reheated. I am not sure but that is how it tasted. This location is actually local to me, but I will not waste my moneythere again. If you want a good Burger King visit the one in Bayers Lake, Halifax. The food is fast, hot and tasty. Read more
