I don?t usually write bad reviews, Maybe it was an off day for the chef but I paid $28 for raw salmon and bland rice and burnt... cauliflower. Like the salmon was cold and raw. I left my plate as is after one bite because I didn?t want to throw up in therestaurant. It was sticky and mushy inside and straight up raw. Really bad experience. The pictures look nothing like the food we got. The service was good, but it was absolutely disappointing to see that there was... like 7 fries in the box. Huge box, but nothing in there, super small portions. The shrimp was tasteless. Just a bitdisappointed, the fries were good though. Read more
Arrived at 5:50 p.m., told to sit anywhere, went a little further to the back of restaurant, it was very busy only 3 available... tables, all you can eat fish Tuesday. Order was taken not long after we arrived, really we only wanted to just have calamari,but told they had run out. So we ordered a two piece and a one piece meal, waited probably 20 minutes for the meals to come, wehad ordered with rice instead of fries, is this why it took so long! Fish didn't have much flavor and was a little undercooked. The 3 servers seemed to be very disorganized, waiting on all the tables it looked like, not assigned to certain areas of therestaurant. The tables were not wiped down between customers, our table had glass rings on it from a previous customer. Wewere sitting by where they keep the mops - server had to come get the mop as a water glass was spilled on a customer (mop headwas disgusting) - light switch was very dirty and around the door handle for mop closet, it didn't look real clean inside thecloset either. The metal on the backs of the chairs was very sticky and looked dirty. The back of the long cloth booth benchis absolutely disgusting. Floor seemed slightly sticky, customer beside us when he left commented to us the floor was slippery(greasy?). Bathroom was clean, is extremely small and hard to move around in, would never get a wheelchair in there. Friendlystaff, the male server was very apologetic about our wait time and thanked us for our patience, he needs a haircut and a beardtrim. Did take out, food was great, my first time ever at a Joey's and I gotta say the fish was very tasty and cooked perfectly,... service was super friendly and quick, food was made to order, we had a great experience. I will say if your gonna order a 3piece haddock and fries, be hungry, its a good size meal. Read more
