Usually a really great place to go, and the food is exceptional. However, last time I came here, the service was pretty... disappointing. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that they are possibly very short staffed. The guy who works at thebar is always very kind and attentive, and you can tell he works hard. But at one point last visit, everyone working there (allof a few staff) disappeared into the back, and we didn't see our server for 25 minutes or more. We didn't even get a refill of aglass of water from her. Not sure what they were all doing in the back, and what she was doing the entire time? It was fairlydead in the restaurant at the time. I ordered the Shrimp Fajitas off the "Summer Eats" Menu and when it came I was told that they were "out of guacamole" that was... supposed to come with it and they had no avocado's to even make it. Safeway is in the same parking lot? It also came with aninch of grease in the pan and 3 small strips of red pepper with some onion and a teaspoon of corn; hardly enough to make 4fajitas. Terrible! As a Hijabi Muslim women who came here with a friend to eat lunch, I was worried about the atmosphere and if I would have a good... experience. But our waiter was awesome and helpful. The food was so tasty - I got the cheese sandwich burger without the beefpatty or bacon (cos obviously) but it was still super cheesy and super tasty! Even the other people eating there were all reallynice and it was just a very lovely experience. My friend and I will be making this our hang out spot when we meet up once amonth! Read more
