Let me preface this jeremiad by saying the staff are not bad people and I'm sure they mean well. However, I felt like imparting... this diatribe as a means of 'professional development' for the good 'ol DQ crew, considering I'd currently give them them anelementary school grading of a D- in perfomance (come on gang, we can do better!) When in-person, the staff DO get the job doneand the order right (bueno, bien hecho). This is indisputable. They are fantastic in this regard. No sarcasm intended. However,when ordering through a 3rd party delivery app you will have better luck trying to resurrect the body of Christ or trying toconvince American Republicans that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, than to get your order delivered correctly. I don't knowwhat it is, but when converting an order from speech to text, an EF5 cognitive tornado rips through the establishment'spersonnel. I plan on developing a literacy program for this Dairy Queen's staff to help improve its functioning. I DO recommendthis place for sure, but only if you GO INTO the establishment. If you're ordering through Uber Eats, Skip or whatever and youread this review and still got bent, lesson learned. Read more

Used to be so good and no idea what happened since this summer... My bf has nut allergy, we mention it before ordering food... every time and was told "we will sanitize as much as we could", the first time I had a whole peanut in my milkshake, the secondtime there was a peanut skin in my bf's milkshake... A guy was wondering around the tables while I ate. He ordered more food, sat back down, ate and left. Then an employee asked if... I saw the guy leave, I said most likely, and the employee proceeded to search the premises for this guy. A few minutes pass anda middle aged woman (possibly the owner) shows up. The employee explained that the guy left, and she said "If he shows up again,refuse service" and that's when I felt too uncomfortable to stick around and left. Shouldn't have come in while depressed. Update: the manager reached out to us after a talk to staff she offered us to try another 2 blizzards on the house. The two... blizzards were perfect. So my review is being updated from 1 star to 4 stars as at least they are trying to do better. Staffare pleasant but I've now been through the drive through more then 5 times in the last few months. Yesterday I was not impressedwith 2 blizzards we ordered. The dessert cups were not even full, previously we ordered blizzards and there was next to noflavouring...hardly any chocolate in the brownie extreme Basically I was eating a cup of vanilla ice cream. Until somethingchanges do yourself a favor and go to the DQ on Hazeldean. Repeatedly disappointed in this location on Terry Fox. Read more
