We have ordered 2 Chicken Biryani's. PRICE: Expensive compare to GTA. Chicken biryani $ 17 + HST Quantity: Expect around 60% of... what you get in GTA Taste: You will have to carry some curry. The taste of Biryani is totally blank. The lady on the cashcounter offered some green chillies (Thank you) as she guessed that I was looking for medium spice chicken biryani. Excellent food!! We tried the lamb Bhuna, and paneer Saag with garlic Naan and roti. Both curry dishes were delicious. The... Bhuna is full-bodied, aromatic, not too creamy or thick, and mildly spicy with various spices and ingredients that work welltogether making it an overall very satisfying dish, especially with the garlic Naan. The Saag is creamy and very smooth. It isa different texture to the Bhuna and also very delicious. Highly recommend 1000 Curries for an amazing Indian cuisineexperience. This was my second visit to this restaurant. I was passing by from the location and tempted to have a nice dinner with my... family. This is the place came to my mind first, as the chef and owner of the restaurant - Mr. Ben - very friendly andwelcoming. I felt like coming to another home to have a meal far away from home. My husband and I came to Gananoque for a mini vacation for our 20th anniversary and LOVE Indian food, so we visited 1000 Curry... tonight for a dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We have been to India twice and the food at 1000 Curry is veryauthentic. The staff was excellent and the owner came to our table to check on us and say hello. Seems as it is Diwali today,we asked him about the history of Diwali and he gladly educated us all about it. It was a lovely evening and a wonderfuldinner. Thank you to everyone at 1000 Curry.
