Top notch. Great atmosphere, but we were there when it was not too busy, very roomy. The food was quite tasty and done how we... asked. I thought the meat loaf serving in house was smaller than when we ordered from home. The Pub Steak was delicious! Service seemed a little slow but that was ok. All in all a good experience. Read more
On a visit to Fredericton for the first time. I gave 3 stars for quality vs price of the food. I give 5 stars to the waitress... for despite being understaffed was very nice and polite. Waited a long time to be served but I?m not complaining about thatbecause I do understand the staffing issues. I don?t understand all the comments about how great the burger was, because minewas really ordinary. Almost 15$ just for the burger alone, plus, sides are extra? What a disappointing pricing strategy. Lots ofalcohol choices is a plus. Overall, waitress friendly, food just ok, long wait. Maybe I?ll give them a second chance before Ileave Fredericton, unless I stumble upon a better restaurant in town. Read more
Went to this great little restaurant for work late on Saturday night. It came highly recommended by the locals as a great spot... to tuck into a good steak and a cold beer. It did not disappoint! The staff were super freindly and quick. The menu has a littlebit of everything and the prices were great. I'll tell ya, it hit the spot after being on the road all day. I took a leap of faith and visited the Hilltop Tavern last week, I had heard many negative this about this restaurant. I entered... their spotless restaurant, staff was most welcoming. Our server was so nice, and very attentive. Our meal was amazing. Myfriend and I each had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection, you could cut it with a fork.
