It's McDonald's, so it's poison. I go for the coffee + muffin combo (they're the only place with a combo, and their coffee has... been good since 2015). This is my favourite location, though. I have found the staff to be accommodating and speedy. Somepeople complain about waiting a few minutes to order, or to get their food. What they forget is that the McStaff have to dealwith drive-thru orders, mobile app orders, McDelivery orders, SkipTheDishes orders, DoorDash orders, UberEats orders, kioskorders, AND the orders from the impatient walk-ins. Give them a bit of a break. They probably work harder than you do. It's apopular location, so the rubbish bins fill fast. Additionally, it seems the community of Esquimalt doesn't know how to pick upafter themselves, and there is often rubbish on the tables (i have no problems cleaning my own table before use). However, thestaff DO make an effort to clean frequently. The bathroom here is spacious and generally quite clean, with a large accessiblestall and a change-table (IN the stall, for some privacy). I have not yet seen this loo out-of-order or "closed forcleaning". There are outlets at every table, but they seem to charge a bit slowly. Also, the wifi is painfully slow if you'retrying to DL from YouTube or Netflix. Best use the wifi at the Tim's down the street. Summary: it's McDonald's, but a nicerone, in a good neighborhood. I went in the drive through and the service was fast but the hot chocolate was cold and the fries tasted sweet.

Pretty decent. I get wraps occasionally, but I mainly get cheese burgers and chicken burgers. I've noticed the chicken, burger... patty, or cheese is almost always misaligned, making it so half the burger has cheese or patty and the other half does not.Wraps are usually fine (although it's a bit hard to screw up a wrap). More than once however, the person wrapping the burgersseems to not do it fully, making the burger come out of its wrapping and fall apart when I pull it out of the bag. Other thanthat the staff are fine. When it's not busy it's quite quick. The restaurant itself is generally quite clean if you don't gothere immediately after a large rush (like at dinner time).
