If I could give 0 stars I would. ... It is my husband's birthday on Sunday October 23rd and I wanted to set up a dinner for him... and our friends at 4pm that day. I went to try and book online and the website informed me that my party was too large and Ishould fill out a request form. I did so and the form said I would hear back from someone between 1-3 business days. This waslast week and nothing from the staff. I have phoned the number every day at different times to try and get a hold of someone,anyone, to get info. I can't believe that after calling multiple times a day for over a week I still have not managed to talk toa person. The automated message tells you what buttons to press to speak to someone and then the line rings endlessly for 10minutes or more. I realize I should have put this together a month ago, but if this is the service that they give I doubt I'dbe able to book anything even four weeks ago. The customer service and access is appalling and I won't be trying to use thisbusiness in the future. We have a party of over 10 friends with some guys that will eat a lot and drink a lot. The Rec Room is as okay; Not great. Long story short: It was expensive and the value for your money isn’t good at... all. PROS: * It’s in West Edmonton Mall so it’s a large venue; * The games and video games are geared to a variety ofages; * there is a dedicated parking area for the red room. However with it being at WEM the lots are full anyways; * The staffare generally helpful; * There is a restaurant and bar inside the Rec Room so if you wanted to have a meal or a drink while youwait for kids you can do that including watching big screen tv’s. CONS: * It’s expensive. The value is just not there andalso the value at each game or arcade game have timers and change values constantly; * Getting to the Rec Room can be difficultas it is kind of hidden in the second floor and it’s not connected to the bowling lanes; * After collecting all of yourtickets you find out that there is a VERY limited selection of items to choose from and they are way over valued there aswell; * if you or your children are sensitive to flashing lights etc. then this place may be too much for you including sensoryoverload. It's a fun place but the food is below average. I wish it wasn't. As an example, the cheese on the nachos was "liquid cheese".
Went here to bring our 5 year old for her birthday. She just bounced around to all the games and had a blast. The more popular... games had line ups (Mario cart and halo) but that didn’t bother us. Read more

Stick to the arcade games; food is deceiving. I should have known that the food at an arcade would not be good, but the... deceiving advertisement for their new stone-cooked pizza led me to take the chance. I took a risk, and I wasdisappointed. Their advertisement displayed a crispy crust wood-fired pizza (see the second photo). However, what was broughtto me was a very unappealing pizza. I understand that I should not have expected this pizza to be good, but it is theresponsibility of the business to advertise accordingly. On the plus side, the arcade games are pretty fun. Read more
