I went out for the first time in a long time. Had a good night till I showed the Dj a song on my phone if he could play it. Like... most djs do the take the phone look and put it on queue. But he didn?t give me my phone back. I was told to wait till closing. Iwaited 2 hours till closing. And they still didn?t give it back accusing me of throwing my phone at him. And that I disrespectedhim?? That was not my intentions at all. They told me to come back tomorrow Sunday? When there closed???? I had to call. 911 onmy friends boyfriends phone to try and get my phone back to be able to get home. Honestly this Place looks nice, but theDj/owner and his buddy security guards are rude people. Booked reservations via email, response was super prompt. Arrived and found free parking nearby. We were seated quickly at a... small table for two. Good starting position. We ordered cocktails, an old fashioned and chameleon rum drink, they were perfect.So we also ordered the olives and tomato crostini, a perfect lil snack, and the basil was fresh. Our hostess was absolutelyfantastic and got us a booth which was facing the dance floor. Where the DJ was spinning it up with a wide array of music. So wecould hit the dance floor at any moment, then settle back in for a refreshment. The bartender was on point and by about 2330 theplace was packing up. The atmosphere is unreal, the various seating areas are one of the best parts about it. I will go back ona single date, or a group of friends. The price matches what you get out of the experience. Worth every penn... nickel. It'sonly open a couple nights a week. And that works for me. So make an excuse and go if you haven't, and let me know how thegrilled cheese is.. Cheers Read more

Absolutely disappointed by the owner/DJ, Blair Junior. If you go to The Bower, be aware that Blair might think it?s totally fine... and legal to take your phone away from you if you ?disrespect him? by requesting a song while he is DJ?ing. My friend had theunfortunate incident of having her phone taken away by Blair because she requested him to play a song. She in no way tried to berude whatsoever. She was having a wonderful time and really wanted to hear a specific song. He could have politely declined tothis request. Blair is completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and entitled. He refused to give her phone back ?until the endof the night,? and then proceeded to keep it anyways ?until tomorrow? because my friend got upset. I think it?s completelyreasonable to get upset over having your phone taken away. Especially when you need to get home by Uber. Even the security guysthought this was a completely normal occurrence and acted as if my friend was in the wrong for being upset. Sine when is takingpeople?s property considered normal?
