Here I am, I find myself writing about olive garden in the hours past my delightful meal. As any novice google reviewer should,... I packed my journal, and unironically began writing and doodling various words and images to draw creativity the second after wewere seated. My girlfriend sat next to me, scrolling tik-tok as I found peace and tranquillity in the soft faux leather boothplaced in the corner of this particular olive garden. This being my first experience at olive garden, I had little to noexpectations, other than being informed by my girlfriend of the various offerings that solidfied olive gardens place in thesub-prime dining experience. I had heard from other colleagues that the breadsticks are "endless" and that they were "to diefor". I didn't let any of these preconceived thoughts effect me though. Could it be compared to the endless ribs found atMontana's? Or potentially the infamous crab legs at Red Lobster. At this stage I didn't know what I was in for. But I knew forcertain that I was definitely not ready for what was coming.... As we settled in I took great comfort in eavesdropping on someof the surrounding tables and family's, the familiar conversations eased the anxiety I had towards this new found diningexperience. I certainly appreciate the staff and ambiance to which they created in this establishment. Such beautiful artwork,designer lighting, and all paired with sounds from the likes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and various other musicians fromyester-year, creates a confusing combination of affordable eating and theatrical Italian showmanship. Soon after, our platterof endless breadsticks, and bowls of everlasting soup arrived. I Always enjoy the Olive Garden this time was no exception! I ate in the Bar because it was faster than the 30 min wait for a... table which is fine with me because I was hungry. I ordered the tour of Italy Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan. And Fettuccine Alfredoto die for topped it off with dessert was so pleased that I over tipped our wait staff! Read more
Amazing pasta! Great service!! Manager is extremely helpful and such a great lady to talk with! Very clean environment! Wait... time was very minimal on an extremely busy day. So happy I ate at the Olive Garden in Edmonton! I'm visiting from Toronto and I always eat it when I'm in the USA. Had no idea... they had a location in Canada. The food was good but the service was better. MJ was the best server! We never had to ask him foranything because he was always paying attention to his tables.
