Hostess was very sweet and our server was fantastic. We normally avoid the dinner rush when eating out as we have a toddler,... but our server was friendly, speedy/efficient, perfect timing for every aspect of our meal and honestly read our minds at somepoints. Eight of us went there for my spouses birthday on a Friday night. We had been there in the past several years ago and were not... impressed with service or the food but we thought that we would try this place again Our server Annisa was fantastic. She wasvery courteous and very efficient. Six of the people that were there with us were very impressed with the food. The lastseveral times at other East Side locations or take out they said the food had been sub par but here they said it was deliciousand will come back. They even let us bring in our own cake which they brought out and sang Happy Birthday to my spouse. The onlycomplaint that we had was that there were no blinds to block the sun. Great experience and good food! I’m never disappointed with East Side, originally I am from the West coast so we do not have... this restaurant in BC. My 3rd time coming to this chain restaurant and it’s always my first choice! We had a lovely server,Unfortunately I cannot remember her name. I give a 10/10! Update: I see that another review was talking about the screamingchild. I was there at the exact time. It was not that bad, and there is not much the restaurant, etc can do. I enjoyed my timethere!! Went to East Side Mario’s in Dundas to celebrate our anniversary. We had not been there since prepandemic. My husband... enjoyed scallops and I liked the veal. The salads and bread ???? were fresh and abundant. Good food, good value, but the bestpart of our experience was the service. Fran, our server, facilitated our fun with prompt attention, efficiency, a winningsmile and great humor. The complimentary desserts were “over the top” delicious. I would highly recommend. Read more
