This location is awful. The men that are cooking keep looking at the slips as if they don't t understand. This is the 1st time... I've ever waiting so long. Watching them work was painful. First time trying Thai Express: Meal was DELICIOUS. Pad See Ew. I had never had Thai food before and I loved it. Decided to... order again a few days later: Ordered and paid online at 730pm and selected a pick up time of 930 PM. Arrive to pick up myfood at 910pm. Click the link in the email to let them know I had arrived. Worker comes running out and says "we're closed, thegrill is cleaned" Why did it even let me select a time after closing? No one called me to say order came in for a time afterclosing, even though my phone number was attached to my order.. Spoke to the manager the next day and she offered me aresolution that was satisfactory after a very frustrating experience. Great customer service and the situation was handledwell. Next attempt to eat here: Decide to order online for curbside. I picked a time the store was actually open. Arrived at8:05pm. Clicked the link to advise I had arrived. 30 minutes passes and no one comes out.. I call the number multiple timesno answer. I order curbside for a reason. I hate crowds, so this is extra frustrating. Finally just ended up going in therestaurant.. My food had been sitting there on the back counter for at least 30 minutes. They were just helping the nextpeople in line rather than including me in the queue of waiting customers. We order Thai Express at work quite often and unfortunately we need to use this location. Every single time the boxes are not... marked. We need to open them all up and see what is what. Also some people get mild, some get medium, with the same meals. Noidea which is which. I?ve complained in person, I?ve complained to Uber eats, I?ve emailed Thai express, I?ve used their?contact us? on the app, and I?ve used the ?contact us? on their website. Nobody has ever replied to me. I mean how hard is itto write what peoples orders are on the boxes??? I almost always end up choosing the mild one when my coworker chooses my spicyone and then it?s awkward to switch. Such an unneeded annoyance and just pure laziness. These orders are $200+ Every week, itseems like you?d want to continue with our business but I guess not since nobody replies and nothing changes. I have been consistently going to this specific spot at least once a month for over 2 years because it's the closest to my home.... Compared to other Thai Express location in HRM this is hands down the worst one. Not so bad that you can't visit, but thislocation is at a firm steady downhill pace. Here's why : 1. Staffs doesn't want to interact and seem annoyed most of the time,aka rude to customers. 2. The cook doesn't follow orders made 1m from them very precisely. Either the cashiers and cooks havezero communication or the cooks straight up just don't care. More than twice my food wasn't cooked completely, luckily theprotein (meat) are pre-cooked otherwise who knows if there will be a more serious food poisoning. Was asked about the spicinessof my food but came out completely wrong so why bother asking in the first place. Issues like these etc... 3. Most days whenstuff at the "condiments bar" runs low or out they don't get replenishes or refilled at all. The only good thing I have to sayis the location seems clean and enjoyable to be in. If these problems persist I'd rather pay $2.50 and gas to cross the bridgeback and forth to Halifax side instead, no hesitation. Am currently only staying for the occasional good. Read more
