Really the only thing to say about a restaurant chain can't really be about their food, it's the same as every other restaurant... of its type it's usually always good or you wouldn't go, what I will say about restaurants of this type it's about things likeatmosphere cleanliness service. This restaurant (although the shrimp was well overcooked this time,) hits all the pluses, I'venever had a bad waitress there I've never had a meal that wasn't as good as the first time I went and the general demeanor ofthe staff is positive creating a good atmosphere. Food was great! I loved the burrito bowl and their ribs and wings combo is a winner. Meat was tender unlike in other branches of... Montanas so this one in Dartmouth has a good way of preparing the food. They nailed the ribs! The steak we ordered doesn't seemto be perfect, a bit over well-done (we wanted medium-well). The burgers are good too, nothing special but taste good. Not soimpressed with the waitress/server, not friendly and nice as the girl in the reception. My parents and aunt ate at Montana?s Dartmouth Crossing for my parents? recent 54th anniversary. While they were there, I was... able to phone from BC and arrange for a special dessert to be brought to their table, complete with fanfare and singing. We evencoordinated it so my siblings and I could call with my parents when it was delivered. This was all a complete surprise to myparents. The staff were friendly, creative, and beyond helpful in accommodating this short-notice request. My parents? overalldining experience was excellent. Read more
I recently came in with myself and two daughters, my server was Trevor. Firstly, he was very prompt, polite and very welcoming.... He also was very patient when we were deciding what we wanted to eat (11 & 3 year old daughters). He checked in with us to makesure everyone was happy with their meals and was also really attentive when he seen our drinks were empty ???? Trevor has by farbeen the best server we?ve had at any of the Montanas locations in Halifax/Dartmouth and will be requesting him when we go back!Trevor, if you happen to stumble past this review, please keep up the great work! went in for dinner at 5:30pm. Restaurant was busy, hostess said approximately 25-30 minute wait. She took our cell number and... would text when table available. Seems like a good system. But.... here it is 8:30pm. Still no text for table. I wont botherwith Montana's anymore, if they don't have a table, I'll just go elsewhere. Plus I'll recommend everyone else do the same. Read more
