I really love my Starbucks! The service in the Starbucks at Safeway isn't the greatest but not also not the worst. Perhaps if... the staff stopped gabbing and actually make the orders a bit faster - 5 minutes for a latte (I was the only customer) is a bittoo much. I stop at this Starbucks almost every visit to Cranbrook. Every drink there is amazing. Friendly service, and predictably... consistent with quality. Bathrooms were clean and kitted out with needle dispensers for diabetics, change tables for babies aswell as touchless hand dryers. Everything was nice and clean My only feedback is their drive thru. Absolutely the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Our drinks order took forever and the staff didn?t bother to get our... sandwich. When we asked for the sandwich, the staff member just tossed it into the heater for a mere 10 seconds just to appeaseus. The staff were all bad mouthing us and other customers through their headsets. When we called them out by speaking to themanager about it (who was also involved in speaking behind customers? back), she deflected it and rolled her eyes. The otherbarista gave us rude looks just because we were standing near the bar to get our drinks, but the drinks too forever so we had tostand there to wait?but based on the looks of the barista, waiting for our drinks was apparently unacceptable. Incredibly disappointed. I'm normally very forgiving because I know the service industry. Wasn't even sure I would write a... review but my drink was terrible. Went through the drive thru, waited a very long time even though it seemed everyone in frontof me was only getting 1 or 2 drinks. I got a matcha frappuccino, and I could tell as soon as they handed it to me that it hadway, way, way too much matcha in it but I didn't want to me "that" person and hold up the line even more, plus I figured itwouldn't be that bad. I tried stirring the whipped cream in to lighten the taste but even that hasn't helped much, it's still avery dark green and I literally can't drink it. I know if I had been the one working I would have taken one look at that drinkand remade it. I don't know how it got so messed up but there has got to be at least double or triple the normal amount ofmatcha in it. For a $6 drink, I expected better. Read more
