Food was fine but very expensive, so I would expect good service. I was WRONG!!! The service was horrible, we ended up waiting... forever for food to be delivered. Then after food was delivered we had to sit and wait for our utensils. To top it off, at $5for a cup of coffee I expected a refill but that was not coming. Great place to bring your dog, their patio is essentially a dog park with chairs. Very cozy and casual. Service was... underwhelming. Waited 5 minutes to be seated, despite most of the patio area being empty. Our order was taken promptly after wewere seated and the food came in under 10 minutes. We got fish and chips, it was a little greasy and not fresh, but that's tobe expected. Good food overall, loved the fries. It was quite a while before we saw our waitress again. Everyone at the tablenext to us stood up and flagged the staff down because they were tired of waiting for their bill. Eventually we had to do thesame. As the temperature began to drop, we noticed the staff bringing blankets to other guests, so that was nice forthem. TL;DR Good food, slow service, got the impression that they were slightly understaffed and perhaps a bit inefficient, butit is by far the most dog friendly place in Charlottetown. Read more
Made Reservations for 6:45, and after showing up early, and then waiting to be seated until after 7 (no one was in line ahead of... us), we decided to take out business elsewhere. The host didn't even tell us to 'wait a minute', or to 'hold on while we cleanyour table's, he just walked away and then started serving tables and never came back. Very, very understaffed. Staffing is anissue everywhere, but if you can't hire enough people to at least seat guests that have reservations, you should not be open. Read more
Went here for dinner tonight with my girlfriend and her friend, during which we had one of the worst service experiences to... date. I will start off a positive, the food was pretty good (only reason for 2 stars not 1), it could have been better but we'vedefinitely had worse. Now to the not so good... I could understand if they were slammed but there were max 6 tables with peopleduring our visit, not big parties either 3-6 per table (it was kind of overcast so not many people at their outdoor setting).The waitstaff was running around like chickens without heads, they were fumbling with plates, showed little to no menu knowledgewhen asked about dishes, constantly back and forth from tables to kitchen/bar because of forgotten items and just plain badservice. At the end of our meal my girlfriend didn't finish her supper and we wait for 25+ minutes trying to flag a server downto get a box and our bill and it wasnt for lack of trying either. It could have been just an off night but I don't think we willbe coming back, especially because the menu has shrunk to maybe half it's previous size. I know I'm dragging them through themud a bit here but it was probably some of the worst service I've had anywhere to date. We've both worked in service and ittakes a lot for us not to tip because we both know how much tips mean, but tonight was the exception.
