Five star for the food and minus one for the service. It?s a bit pricey (~$45/person) but the taste is better than most of the... HK restaurants that I tried before. Read more
Came here on a Saturday for a late lunch (brunch). First off, my review is mostly based on the food. I will make the assumption... that most Chinese restaurants are typically slow service and when you go to a restaurant expecting it that way then you willhave a good time. The restaurant location is actually 2 restaurants - the bigger T-Pot and the smaller Cafe HK. We sat on thecafe side as we always liked HK style food. Dim Sum is also available on the cafe side. We ordered a selection of our usual DimSum favourites like Har Gow, Siu Mai, Rice crepe with Shrimp, Beef Tripe, and Deep Fried Shrimp dumplings. Everything was supergood. One thing to note is the fried shrimp dumplings uses wonton wraps so it's different texture than usual. We also ordered HKFrench toast and Hainanese Style Chicken. Really good! Food came out quick and like I said if you go in knowing typicallyservice will be slow you can enjoy yourself. We will be back. Read more
I'm an asian myself and don't go to Asian restaurants expecting good service, but give me my damn food. I pay for the food, not... begging for one. Worst experience from the start to end. Came in, got a table, waited forever to get a menu while serverswalking around trying to NOT make eye contact, ordered the food. Ordered hot plate meal, but it came in a plastic plate. Nofricking sauce or soup or toast or drink that were supposed to come with the meal. Gotta fricking ask for those myself. And onedish never came. Been to other restaurants in Taste of Asia group, Calgary Court, Pebble, and the staffs are wayyyyy better thanthe ones here, heaven and hell! Fricking do the job! Our first time here was also our last time. Very disappointed with the customer service. Waited half an hour for our food and so... we did a follow up. Waitress said she forgot to tell us the dish we ordered was out of stock so we had to order another dish andasked if this dish was available or not, she said I?m not sure, we will have to order and see. Waited 20 min and food didn?tcome. Asked for our bill and the food suddenly came! Ha! Should have gone to another HK cafe instead of this! Very disappointedwith their system and service. Read more

It was late on a weekday evening and nothing seemed to be open in the area. According to Google map, it indicated that Cafe HK... will close at 10:00pm, therefore we decided to head there for dinner. Unfortunately, Google map was incorrect about theirworking hours because they actually close at 9:00pm on Tuesday. Luckily, when we arrived at 8:45pm, the staff still welcomed usto dine in and accepted our order. Their menu had a great selection. The food was not bad and the sitting area was clean.Although it was a bit rush because it was the end of the day, but the manager was very friendly and helpful. He gave us moretime to finish our meals. His service was great! I look forward to go back to try their lunch or tea menu next time. Read more
