So glad they survived!! The portions are a bit small if you're a big eater (it's okay, just pick up an onigiri) but so excited... to still have an onigiri that was close to the ones found in Japan. The filling was generous within the rice balls and the ricehad a wonderful texture. My favourite was the cajun shrimp as it has pieces of quality shrimp hidden away inside! The poke bowlingredients are fresh and the bento boxes offer a nice selection of sides and teriyaki sauce isn't too sweet which Iappreciated. You can tell love and quality have gone into this food.. now I just wish it wasn't across town from my office! Read more
I was craving onigiri and heard about this place so I had to visit. It hurt my heart to see this beautiful space empty due to... the current situation, but this is about the food. I was skeptical when I saw the size of the onigiri, but soon came toappreciate the fact that you can eat 3 or 4 of them with a side and a drink and have a good lunch. The rice to filling ratio isperfect. The seasoning is spot on, and the flavour selection is pretty good. If you don't like onigiri, they also have donburi,udon, and poké bowls. What a out of the way find. It is really off the beaten path but definitely worth a visit. Loved the food I had there but the... mushroom is number 1 and crab and mayo was 2nd. Really a hidden gem that's worth multiple visits. Read more
