Exceptional customer service and wonderful atmosphere. The pakoras and samosas were authentic and delicious and the coconut... naan bread is one of those food items that is so worth the calories! I highly recommend this place for the genuineity of it,the high quality of the food and the fantastic customer service. Read more
We enjoy all different Indian restaurants around Calgary! They all have their own flare to their dishes! We’ve finally been... able to dine in person at Taste of Himalayas in Midnapore for the second time in a few weeks! We had ordered online during thehigh of the pandemic! Once establishments were opened again we try to go out and directly support the restaurants we enjoyedwhile locked up! Taste of Himalayas does not disappoint! They have the freshest light tasting garlic naan we’ve ever had! Onthe second visit we voiced our opinions on how much we enjoyed everything! I have been to taste of Himalaya twice in the recent past and the food was good. Unfortunately this time my experience was... totally different. The lamb sikwa was dry, tasted like beef and definitely stale. The chicken Tikka Masala was no different, TheNaan was undercooked and doughy. The fish pakora and kachumbar was fresh and tasted great. And the food was served in areasonable amount of time we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Read more
Staff at this restaurant was really nice and welcoming. We ordered momos - really good. Mulligatawany soup - delicious. Hakka... noodles - bit too sweet and orange for my liking. If you like Nepali/ Indian food, you must give this place a try. Read more

The place looks small from the outside but it is actually really big inside. Nicely decorated and good atmosphere to eat. Food... was delicious and will totally comeback for more. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the person tending us had littlepatience while we decided what to order. Other than that it's a good restaurant with good service. Read more
