A 1 star because it was the worse service ever, absolutely no personality. Never asked how our meal was, an Italian restaurant... never asked if we wanted pepper, Parmesan or chilli peppers. Meal was done, asked do you want the bill, maybe a better way wouldbe would you like the dessert menu, coffee? The food got a star because it was really good sauce. Read more

We enjoyed a business/friend lunch yesterday in this cute little restaurant. We loved the outdoor patio but it was a bit too... cool outside. The food was excellent! We shared the calamari, it was very tender and tasty. We had vongola, lasagne and twoother pasta dishes. We all enjoyed our choices very much. The chef came out and was very welcoming and happy to have us there.He recommended an excellent Chardonnay, we all loved it! It was a great experience for sure. The only thing I would change wasthe waitress poured a whole bottle in the four glasses to start. I like my wine to last a little longer than that. Especially acold Chardonnay. One word to describe this establishment retched Our first clue that we should go elsewhere to dine was walking into an empty... restaurant at a time when most are very busy this place had two patrons. We are trying to support local business but after ourexperience here we will never be back. There are so many good restaurants in the area this place does not deserve thebusiness. Over priced food and wine abysmal service and filthy dishes. I can't even imagine what the kitchen would look like.We asked for bread and salad to go with our wine. The bread arrived no dishes. When we pointed this out the server broughtdishes that were filthy when we pointed it out the response not surprise and apology it was oh well as if every day occurrenceand I am sure it is. The salad arrived half way through our main course after again pointing the this out to the server. With atotal of six patrons and two servers they were not rushed of their feet. Unfortunately our last meal here! We have had many meals here over the years but our experience this evening put an end to... this. Food was excellent but our service was unacceptable. Our inexperienced waitress accidentally tipped two full applejuices over one of our guests. She was covered...shoes, feet, pants, sweater and handbag were a dripping, sticky mess. Accidents happen but there was little an apology and the bill arrived in full. After suggesting some consideration for theaccident should be given, we received a tiny discount, and a small, insincere apology from the manager where he blamed theserver. Accidents happen, but it's how you handle them which is considered good service. Even given an additional chance tomake us want to come back and try again, the manager handled the situation so poorly we unfortunately will not be back. (also,the wasps were horrible on the patio!)
