This place is amazing. I grabbed lunch here with my husband en route to YYC from Banff and I am so happy we did. FOOD: The menu... is interesting and varied, with bowls, wraps, salads, and sandwiches. There were so many great options - I had a difficult timepicking! We both ended up getting salads with chicken. Our salads were fresh, delicious, and generous in portion. The chicken,which is often an afterthought in salads, was grilled and flavorful. I'm picky about my salads and too often get salads withingredients that just aren't fresh enough. None of that here. I told my husband that if we had this where we live in California,I would be a regular! This is so much better than the pricey alternatives we have in our neighborhood. SERVICE: We dined in andwas surprised when we were served with real bowls and silverware. Given the prices, we were expecting a fast food meal. Thestaff member working was helpful in describing menu items and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was justright. I was already impressed with their service (and totally embarrassed I didn't tip more than I did once we were served).But the next part blows me away. Unfortunately, I left my purse in the restaurant that day and discovered it after I had boardedmy flight back home. I called the restaurant and they confirmed they found it. Since then, I've been working with the storemanager to get my purse shipped out to me. It's not an easy process since it's an international shipment that requires customforms. Matthew, the store manager, has been so patient in working with me to make sure I get my bag back. I offered to pay forthe trouble but he said there was no need. Really friendly staff. Salad based menu is great and varied. Very tasty and good value.
Closed at 7pm?! No other chopped leaf closes that early. Congratulations on being the laziest owner for chopped leaf in... Calgary. They are extremely cheap with the amount of Protein you get...for example you barely get a quarter of a chickenbreast. What a joke..don't bother giving these guys your business. Why oh why would you close at 7:00pm???!! If you want lunch only, I guess this is the chopped leaf to come to. Forget... dinner! So disappointing. I'm pretty sure this is why the previous restaurant in the same location shut down. Staff need to bewilling to work regular restaurant hours to remain in business. The other businesses in the same strip are open until 9:00pm and10:00pm, so no excuses! Read more
