We were seated and waited over 5 mins for water and coffee server came back with cups of ice (no water) told us new pot of... coffee to boil. Fine. She than walked by us more than 5x times avoiding eye contact and not willing to take our order. Despiteour menu's together on the table to show we are ready to order. We than hailed to blonde curly haired lady and she completelyignored us. So we got up to walk out and told the blonde lady why, she apologized offered to take our order, and said they areshort staffed. All of which maybe true, the real problem is the lack of management skill. Do not seat all your servers if yourshort staffed. Have people wait in lobby, cause the minute you sit at any table, as a patron, you expect excellent service andforget about the wait at the door. Get better management!!!! Read more
Got a breakfast meal here with eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns and pancakes. Ate most of the meal and then started on the... pancakes. Inside the pancakes was literally all hair. Not just 1, not 2, but laced with hair. Like someone shaved their headover the batter. I showed it to the waitress who of course got the manager. Basically said, no idea how that happened and saidthey would take $3 off the meal for the pancakes. Didn't even get an apology.... not like that would of mattered. Never will gohere again! Read more
If I could I would give this place ZERO stars I would. The food was cold the service was terrible. Our server was in the... middle of taking our order and walked away to do something else. Worst. Experience. Ever. We went to the Lougheed ihop location because we always had a great experience in the past, boy has it... changed? We were seated at our table and it took the staff 20 minutes before even asking for drinks, no water was provideduntil we asked for it. We then asked for colouring sheets for the kids, but they were out? if colouring sheets!?!? When ourcoffee was finally brought to us we asked for the thermos but the waitress said she will just come fill it herself. Seeing as ittook 20 minutes to get my first cup, I preferred to have the thermos and she said ?no, I?ll refill it myself?. When we startedordering, we found out they were out of milkshakes for the kids, so we asked for chocolate milk ?were out of that too?. Theydidn?t have steak bits or the smokehouse sausage either. I asked for the strawberry syrup and I was told they don?t carry thatanymore, only original. WTH! You are the international house of pancakes and you have 1 kind of syrup? Before we were evendone, the waitress brought us the bill as if she?s trying to kick us out even though there were multiple tables empty. Needlessto say, we did not leave a tip. I visited here yesterday. I was very disappointed. My food arrived with a huge hair lodged in the breakfast wrap. After my party... had already finished their food, did I receive the other plate. I was then delivered another plate with another hair in it.Although I had already eaten most of it, and it wasn't until half the food was eaten that I found another hair. Which made mequestion the food safe/sanitation protocols in the Kitchen. No hair nets/tops clearly. On top of that, I asked for a coffeerefill 3 times before I was poured a second cup. We waited for a long time to get our bill, and our Server did not know the menuat all. Nor was I offered a discount or anything to compensate for the experience. Terrible. Read more
