I was craving for grilled chicken so I decided to try this out. It was quite disappointing. The grilled chicken was dry and... overcooked. Even the legs and thighs that are the least to get dry was. The flavour was also lackluster. Chicken won’t tastelike anything without the sauce and the sauce wasn’t even impressive. Rice was bland. Just…salty. And service was subpar. Read more

A pleasant surprise at Barcelos. We were in South Burnaby area not knowing where to have a late lunch. We saw a few eateries... at the east end of the Market Crossing Shopping Complex. We dropped in without any expectations. The flamed grill chicken wasextremely well prepared. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. The Peri Sirloin Burger was excellently cookedand wonderfully seasoned. We had a casual but a very delicious meal at the Barcelos. Highly recommended. Read more
