We ordered the Veggie Benny and Bacon sandwich with sides of hash brown and soup. Everything was delicious. Lady taking care of... us was lovely (didn’t catch her name, unfortunately). Huge portions. Saw this place all over Instagram and really wanted to give this place a try. There’s free 1 hour parking along the streets.... We came at a good time as there was a table for 2 available. The servers were super friendly and nice when asked what theyrecommended. Food was very delicious and different. I really enjoyed how the fried chicken and waffle had a side of Koreansauce. I had a good feeling about this place, when I saw the photos of they're food since I moved to the hood. Finally ordered take... out the other day as I've been having alot of trouble getting a reso here. Ethnically speaking I was surprised when I walkedin. Another charm of a breakfast joint along the Hastings corridor. Inside is bright, clean, and modern. Have been to here a few... times, but this time did a take out order. Fried chicken & waffles - I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but the flavorparings of the sweet and savory are exceptional. I found the waffles to be balanced and not too sweet. The chicken is fried toperfection, juicy and tender. The spicy Korean ketchup that comes with it adds that additional punch in the mouth. The cook onthe poached eggs was exactly as they should be for Benny’s, nice and runny when cut into. The cakes themselves were nicelycooked and seasoned well. That hollandaise sauce brought the Benny’s to life and tied all the flavours together. Hash brownswere crisp. Washed it all down with their famous Thai Iced Tea and left me wanting more. My husband and I went for breakfast this morning. It was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful. The food came very... quickly. My husband had the pulled Pork Benny on corn bread.
