First of all I like Swiss chalet and always have. But when I got there yesterday they informed me they had no white meat and it... would take 20 minutes. So I ordered dark meat. Arrived for dinner as Swiss Chalet is one of our favourite spots. Our server was friendly and very prompt bringing our drinks.... However the arrival of food was the slowest I’ve ever seen. Everyone around us waited a minimum of an hour for their meal toarrive. The server was super apologetic. We waited nearly 90 minutes, which is completely inexcusable. The people who arrivedprior to us waited 60 minutes and the people to our other side who arrived after us had not received theirs when we had finishedand were departing… I’d say well over 90 minutes. Date of visit Oct 9, 2022. Arrived with a party of 6 around 6:30pm. Was seated promptly and had our drinks within minutes.... Placed our orders and waited, and waited, and waited some more. The waitress was attentive, kept going to check the kitchen andkeeping us updated. Finally the servers bring our food to the table, roughly a hour after we placed our order. We figured withit being Thanksgiving they must have been backed up, no worries, we we're just thankful we can finally eat. Nope, we we'rewrong. Every plate that came out had cold food on it. Not warm food, cold. I question the waitress about it and she assured meeverything just came out of the oven. I reply that is simply impossible and invite her to touch our food. The waitress went andgot the kitchen manager who told us they could remake all of our food in 5-minutes. I question the manager how he intends tomake our food in 5 minutes when it originally took a hour, he didn't reply. We send back the food and decide to leave as wedidn't have time to wait for them to remake our food. Just a total jaw dropping experience here. Ordered a club wrap and an extra salad. They got my order wrong three times. Once they finally gave me what I order I headed... out. Got home to eat and there was barely anything in the wrap, lettuce in the wrap was also slimey and rotting. The wrap itselfwas extremely dried out. I am pretty sure it wasn't made today. Ordered from here twice. First time it was so bad they gave me $15 coupon. I tipped $5 so really it was only $10. Second time I... ordered the soup was spilled everywhere and there was no gravy for the roast beef sandwich. Called and was told by the managerI'll get a replacement meal. That was 45 minutes ago and I'm still waiting. Last time I ever order from here. Preparing fastfood is NOT rocket science. How are these "workers" still alive?
