Menu for Atlantic Host in Bathurst, NB

When visiting this hotel with my friend, we struggled with trying to keep our room warm, the heater was loud and going off and... all on all night. We then decided to get room service, we couldn't get the phone to work so I called on my cell.. I never beento a hotel where I had to go pick up my own food from the restaurant and bring it upstairs to our room, we were also missingstuff from our dinner, and both meals were not good at all.. when leaving for check out in the morning the halls were full oftrays and food left over from the night before. Great hotel the rooms were clean staff was great pool was a nice size. The food at the restaurant and bar was good and breakfast... came out fast if you have breakfast try the egg benedict they were very good I had them two mornings in a row that is how goodthey were. Read more

Stayed here with a friend last minute reservation . I live here and love to support local but our stay was not the best . We got... no information for breakfast in the morning , got "room service " for supper but had to go downstairs and go pick it upourselves .Room was so outdated and our heater went from hot and cold all night and was extremely loud .I feel like smallupgrades makes a difference. We put our trays with our leftover room outside the door when we finished eating when we went to gocheckout our tray was still there and along with other peoples garbage all along the hallway . Stopped on our way home to have a late supper. Staff was amazingly friendly and the meal was fresh tasting and hot. Truly made... the stop in our journey worth it and will be visiting again! Read more

I don't know if it's because I'm English, ethnic, a tradesmen or all of the above but I found "Stephen" at the front desk to be... extremely dismissive and had the feeling of being talked down to during our interaction upon check in. I was not given anyinformation about the hotel, about where my room was or if there was any type of breakfast (continental) options for themorning. All I got was a snotty tone and almost disgusted reply to my question about dining, I'm not sure why but I pay the sameprice as every other guest that stays here and should feel welcomed as such. One person can ruin a place for you just like that.Unacceptable. Read more
