Great food and friendly staff! Portions are pretty big and filling especially considering the price. FYI this store is half... restaurant half grocery store with a half wall separating them but the setting was decent all things considered. Read more
Nice little #halal restaurant. They have an interesting menu, with items ranging from biryani and shawarma to samosa chaat and... Tikka etc. We tried the Tikka, biryani, the chicken Tikka roll, samosa chaat and the masala fries. Everything was amazingespecially the chicken Tikka roll abd the samosa chaat. The masala fries were a surprise. Instead of the usual French fries withmasala , these had onions, gravy and condiments etc. Sort of like a poutine. The food is slightly spicy so you might want to askthe staff to change the spice levels to mild to suit your taste. Overall, a nice little find in Barrie. 4 stars because the highchair was broken and the tables weren't clean. The staff immediately cleaned them upon request. I will surely visit again. Read more
I guess times are changing..... We have always enjoyed our food orders from Tikka Fusion in the past. Our last order.... not so... much. The dinner for 4 has gone up in price but they no longer include the samosas and the 4 tiny salads in tiny containers havebeen reduced to 1 tiny salad. Not enough for 1 person let alone 4. So when we picked up our order they tried to charge moremoney than quoted over the phone. They didn't give us our drinks and didn't give us the samosas we paid extra for. When mydaughter, who picked up for us, got home.... we called and they made us drive back to get what they messed up. It was not a goodexperience. It's things like this that make me not go back to a take out restaurant, even if the food is good. Service is asimportant as food. Right now, Tikka Fusion is lacking in customer service. Read more
I have ordered biryani from here often. I had take out twice and there was literally ONE piece of chicken in the take out. This... last weekend we made a big order for a party and made a note about making sure a good ratio of meat was added?. I ordered aMedium size biryani platter and had SIX pieces of meat!!!! 65.99 and 6 pieces of meat, a platter that is to feed 20people. Waste of my money.
