Food was good and consistent. Dinner came as expected. Ordered pie for dessert. Nope, they have been out since Thanksgiving... (four days prior). So were left to choose something else. 10 minutes later we ordered the fudge cake. Nope, don't have thateither..problem with bakery. Ok so, if you don't have the product replace before you run out. Then if you can't, remove thesmall table menu mentioning pies and cake. The pages are removable. Waste of 20 minutes on non existent menu items. Frustrating. Read more
Great location (even though it’s so busy) and food. I’ve done delivery and takeout many many times. Food is great. ... I’d wish the chicken portions were bigger although I’ve been to many Swiss locations and I’ve found the chicken portionshave consistently got smaller I’ve the last decade or so. Read more
The food was great and arrived very quickly, despite the size of our party. The service we got from our server Linda was beyond... outstanding. She was very friendly and made sure all our meals' needs were met at a timely matter throughout our visit. She wasan absolute delight meet and I couldn't have asked for better service. Our great experience at Swiss Chalet and the night we met a very special server ... May! Late last Sunday night (6-26-22) we... went to Swiss Chalet (Bayfield St. location) for supper. When we entered we were greeted by a friendly smile and briefconversation as we were being shown to our seat. A short time later our server arrived at the table with some menus and hadasked us what we would like to drink. We placed our orders and when the food came it was just as we hoped it would be! It wasdelicious and very satisfying. There was another element to all of this that made our experience memorable. As good as the foodwas it was our server that made the night and the reason for this review. Her name is May. She was so kind, so sweet and madeour experience amazing just to have been in her company. If the food had been not so good meeting May would have made it allworth it anyway...!! We enjoyed our food and after we ate we decided to share how we felt with the shift supervisor (which Iwish we would have asked what her name was because she was just so amazing too!) We expressed to the supervisor how the food wasgood and how amazing our server May is and also good for the management at Swiss Chalet to bring somebody like May aboard. Goodmanagement will recognize great prospects and what a home run Swiss Chalet scored in hiring May!!! We were very pleased to meeteverybody that night and we promised May that we will be back to see her again soon...and we will! It was extremely busy here today and the wait wasn't as bad as we expected. The server was very nice and checked in with us... several times to ensure everything was okay and if we needed anything else. Food was great we have never been disappointed withSwiss Chalet ever. Definitely recommend this place even if you have kids with you as many tables around us had their childrenwith them. Great to see smiling faces. Read more
