Really, really good food in generous portions and reasonably priced. Proteins were tasty and well-cooked (no spongey, mushy... seitan here). Our server was so friendly and helpful with her suggestions. The restaurant itself is lovely, well lit, andspacious. Washroom is impeccably clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Mexhico! The interior of the restaurant is very inviting & on a warm day they pull back... the windows & let the breeze in! TL;DR: Mexhico is the best vegan restaurant I have tried so far. Detailed review: I am a vegetarian and I was looking up for... vegetarian restaurants in Barrie. I came across Mexhico which had very good reviews online. My husband and I decided to try thisplace. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff so kindly and enthusiastically that it made us feel extremely welcomed. Wewere trying out Mexican food for the first time so we had some doubts about the dishes. Cathy was our server and she explainedus very well. So then we ordered some drinks, Tacos De Barbacoa, and Mexhico's Stuffed Burger. I must say, the burger was superdelicious with a surprise inside the patty. You must try it and experience it by yourself. The tacos were tasty too. The staffis very friendly and their service is extremely nice too. The menu is thoughtfully curated to give you the essence of Mexican cuisine through a plant basedapproach.
