This was my first stop on my way to Thunder bay from Mississauga. The staff was very welcoming, cosy environment, clean place... and washrooms. Service was super quick. Highly recommended to stopover for coffee and other stuff. Read more
The place is nice, new, but they didn't have blonde roast by 2:00pm which is unusual for Starbucks, I agreed to tall pike, the... girl charged me more than other locations charge for tall drinks, brought me grande coffee with cream in it, even though Ididn't ask for any of that. After explaining what I wanted, she brought me black pike but still grande. Maybe it's just myexperience, new barrista, but I won't be coming there again. Read more
Staff were nice, but 2 stars because the loud music. They were playing heavy goth rock - I just had to Shazam the song (?Watcher... in the sky-Ghost?) the song because it was not coffee lounge chill music and it was pretty loud to drown out with my ownheadphones and music. I go to this Starbucks pretty regularly so I was surprised to have a not so great experience this morning. I pre-order on the... app so I can pick up my drink quickly and avoid lines, before work. I?ve generally had pretty normal/good experiences with thestaff there, other than the girl I encountered this morning. I don?t think I?ve interacted with her before today. This morning(7:30-7:40am ish), I went in to pick up my drink. I grabbed it from the mobile order area like I normally do and this blondegirl (looked late teens/early 20s; one of the baristas) was scowling at me. I normally say thanks to the baristas as I?m aboutto leave but before I could even say anything, she blurted ?you?re welcome? at me in a really rude, condescending tone. I hadn?teven said anything to her. I even smiled when she was scowling at me too, so I don?t know what I did to deserve a bad attitude.I said thanks after, even though it was pretty rude of her to do that. Not sure what her problem was but she should not bedealing with customers if she?s going to treat them poorly. It not only reflects bad on her but also the store and it?s otherbaristas in general.
