Menu for The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff, AB

First off - booked 2 nights well over a month ago. Was hoping for a long over due romantic weekend with my partner. When the... reservation was made, we asked for a king bed and we end up with 2 queen beds. They did not even try to put us in a new roomwithout charging an addition 190/night on top of the already ridiculous price. Front desk woman was short and dismissive withus. The bathroom door had a broken lock and faulty door handle that pops the door open - nothing more sexy than your partnerhearing you take a dump. Shower was dirty. I have bigger computer monitors on my desk than the TV size in the room. For theprice you're paying, they couldn't even put 2 complimentary bottles of water in the room. Extremely enjoyed our stay here. Cleanliness rating 9/10. The views and the ambience of the hotel are GORGEOUS. Breakfast is... great. Lunch and dinner menus need improvement as there aren?t much vegan/vegetarian/kosher/halal options. But tasty food all inall! Been to many hotels in the area,the Rimrock easily comes first place. We stayed in three rooms on three different nights. It was kind of an hassle but all three rooms were luxurious and comfortable.... I would definitely recommend going there as it has stunning views. Of various mountains and scenery. It is also really close tothe Banff gondola which makes it easier for tourists to get to the top without having to drive there. They also gave us free buspasses for the duration of our stay which was really considerate and kind. This hotel also had a 24/7 gym, swimming pool and aamazing squash court which are all fun activities to do within the hotel. Read more

Beautiful scenery. Rooms are clean and quiet, but a bit dated and need touchups for the price...$700 a night...Room service was... adequate, but for the $ the meals were only average. Valet service is extra. The service and staff were pleasant. If you love agreat view and have money to burn, stay here. Read more

Spectacular mountain views! Top notch gourmet dining at Primrose with impeccable service. Our server had extensive in-depth... knowledge of every entree and wine. Well appointed large rooms. Extremely comfortable beds with a lovely clean scent. Sleptgreat. Only 2 opportunities for improvement?Spa patio should be closed to children (especially those with loud video games). Anddue to unique mountain location, it is a shame the rooms do not have guest rooms with patios. You need to leave your room tolounge outside. Overall Grade A minus. Enjoyed our stay! Read more
