We were happy with the staff , atmosphere and food. Cactus our server is phenomenal! the guy checks in on your table constantly,... talks to you like he knows you and really is good at his job. I was hoping for more on my tacos and right away he figured outa solution. Good service is Hard to come by and this guy deserves credit. Thank you for the awesome experience! Read more

We sat by the window on the side where the bar is. I can't see covid cleaning procedures being followed carefully here as the... three sided menu card had the previous diners garbage in it like napkin,straw packaging, broken crayons which really put meoff, not to mention the window ledge and blinds look like they've never seen a washing. It really put me off to dine there butpre covid it was ok so we ordered. Drinks were nice but the food for the price was not worth it. Rib and chicken combo was 4small ribs the size of my palm and the chicken breast was flat, there was maybe a handful of fries covered in pepper. Beans wereyucky and I'm not a fan of pickle coleslaw so needless to say, I was hungry 2 hours later because the dinner was enough for achild. Read more
This was absolutely one of the most enjoyable visits to a restaurant I've had in a long while. Our server, Cactus, was an... absolute delight. The food was delicious. The portions were great. We made reservations for 8 and understood it would be busy for a Saturday night. It took very long time to even get drinks... ordered. After everything was ordered, it was again a long wait. Over half an hour just to get water. We didn't see our waitressoften which meant no refills of drinks the whole night. The other staff was helpful when asked. My drink order was made wrongmany times even after the Waitress ordered it correctly. I was then charged extra because of how they rang in my drink. Mymedium rare steak was well done. After waiting over an hour (from ordering) Our skillet desert was burnt to the bottom of thepan, the only thing that was edible was the ice cream on top. Sadly we had 3 of those at our table. I am not one to complain orwrite bad reviews but I was disappointed. We will stick to Cambridge from now on if we want Lone Star. Read more
