I used to work here in 2019/2020 and it was wonderful until they changed ownership in december of 2019. The new owners would go... to the bathroom without washing their hands, and then continue to handle food products without gloves and again without washingtheir hands, all the while berating the rest of us if we didnt frequently change gloves, or if it wasnt clean enough to their"standards". The subway by walmart is owned by the same people as well. Since the ownership change, I've gotten sick anytimeI've eaten there and just stopped altogether. The owners, and service at this sub placed has gone from great to poor. I don't like eating here anymore. The new owners are... cheap. They are reluctant to give you the toppings you want, you have to ask for more vegetables, like tomatoes and lettuce.They don't even have hot water in the washroom so you can clean your hands! First time in Alliston subway today for lunch. Myself, husband and 2 kids. The two gentlemen working were super nice, got our... orders perfect and chatted with our kids about heading back to school. While we were eating, there was an 'older' lady who wasordering and seemed to have trouble placing her order. I genuinely couldn't decide if she was struggling to hear because of theplexiglass or if she was being rude to the gentlemen working because of their accent. She kept saying loudly, 'What? Pardon?'and throwing her hands in the air but was also asking what came across to me, as unnecessary questions, just so she couldcontinue to be a pain. The two men, were calm and kindly answered all of her questions. What solidified the fact that she wasjust plain being a disgusting human being, was as she went to leave she said 'You two should really take English classes, it'simpossible to understand you.' And she left ???? These two guys, continued working and served the next lady in line. Theydidn't engage and they just let her walk out.
