A must stop is the PEI Handpie Company! I have never tasted anything like it, I had the All Day Breakfast and it was absolutely... amazing! They have a big selection of already warmed up pies to go and Frozen to bring home with you , Staff are extremelyhelpful and it's neet to see how they are made on site. everything is fresh and they are not shy with the fillings, great placeto stop for a nice hot lunch! When I first heard of the Handpie Company and people?s comments of how good they were I had to try them. I stopped by the ... retail store/factory (absolutely beautiful) and went to pick some up and was shocked at the price, $9.00 a pie, wholly cow!After a bit of contemplation, I bit the bullet and built a box of 10 and saved a $1.00 a pie. I love ?meat pies? and inreflection, I don?t think that the Handpie Co. is any more expensive than the various bake shops, but the huge different is thequality, THESE PIES ARE AMAZING. I?ve now eaten 2 of the 10 pies and if the remaining pies are as good as the first (I?m surethey will be) the price was well with it. The pastry is light and flaky, the pies are stuffed full (most regular bakery meatpies are 1/2 full at best) of the most amazing ingredients and flavours. After trying them, I can tell you our freezer willnever be without a box. Now my only quandary is, which one is my favourite. Thanks, Sarah and team, your products areincredible. Read more

Wow!! How did we not know about The Handpie Company before now?? We placed a large frozen order (60+) handpies and picked them... up before leaving the island. We also got 4 strawberry Rhubarb pies to go and ate them in the car. We were all blown away by thedecadent & fresh flavour, the flaky and tasty pastry and the perfect cook! Staff were very friendly & helpful and we felt likewelcomed customers from the moment we walked in. This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I was so excited to get our order that Itotally forgot to take a photo of the sweet pie! You'll just have to go and see/taste for yourself. This is now on our must-stop place for PEI. We noticed this place when we arrived on the island and decided to stop in as we... were about to leave and it was around lunch time. So happy we did! What delicious bundles of flavour! We bought a fewflavours plus the potato salad and it was all so good that we ended up buying 14 frozen ones to take home. We popped them inthe air fryer for about 20-25 minutes and they were just as good at home. Read more
